Antics: the game that does it all
One phone in the middle of the room. Tap, read the card out, deal with the consequences, pass it on. No teams, no scoring, nobody stuck explaining the rules.
How to play
- Open Antics and tap the Antics tile.
- Add everyone’s names, or skip it. With names, call-outs land on a real person. Without them, the card picks on your left neighbour.
- Whoever is holding the phone reads the card out loud.
- Tap for the next card. Pass the phone whenever you like.
The five kinds of card
Antics mode is a mix. You never know which kind is next, which is the point.
EVERYONE Take the forfeit if you’d snog your ex right now, if nobody would ever know.
A question for the whole room. If it’s you, own it.
CALL-OUT Sam, pick a partner in crime for the next 5 cards. They share every forfeit you get.
One player, by name. There is nowhere to hide.
NEW RULE New rule: Sam is the Snake. When they hiss, freeze. Last to freeze takes the forfeit.
Rules stick around for a set number of cards. A countdown at the bottom of the screen shows how long is left.
CHALLENGE Everyone point at the ceiling NOW. Last person takes the forfeit.
A quick game inside the game. Slowest pays.
VOTE On three, everyone points at who’d win in a fight. Most votes takes the forfeit, champion’s tax.
Everyone points at once. The room decides.
What happens when you lose a card
You take a forfeit: something quick and daft, dealt by the app along with the card. The app never tells anyone to drink.
Why it never gets old
Antics remembers which cards your phone has already shown, so the next night deals ones you haven’t seen. There are thousands of cards across the app, and more are added all the time.

Is Antics mode free?
It’s free to start. Premium unlocks the full Antics deck, the full decks in five other games, and Spicy.
Do we have to add names?
No. It works with or without them.
Is it a drinking game?
No. Every card ends in a forfeit, never a drink.

One. Everyone shares it.
