Which kind of Imposter?

ImposterEveryone sees the secret word except the imposter, who doesn’t get it. In Antics you can give them a one-word hint, and from six players you can switch on a second imposter.

Questions instead of cluesEach player answers a question about the word instead of giving a clue.

UndercoverThe undercover player gets a slightly different word, and Mr. White gets no word.

SpyEveryone but the spy sees a location, and you question each other. The spy wins by guessing the place.

Antics deals the classic version, free. Not sure of the rules? How to play Imposter walks through a round, and Imposter game variations covers the twists.

How we checked

  • We picked apps that come up when you search the UK App Store and Google Play for “imposter game”, and that AI assistants name when asked for an Imposter app. Each has real numbers of ratings.
  • Every fact comes from the app’s UK App Store or Google Play listing, including its screenshots, read on 5 October 2026.
  • Prices, ages and platforms are what those listings showed that day. They change, so check the store before you buy.
  • App names belong to their makers. We’re not affiliated with any of them, and nobody paid to be on this page. Among Us details are from its App Store listing.
